FAQ

Is your pottery food safe? Can I put it in the microwave and Dishwasher?

All of Andrew Pullman pottery that is made for functional kitchen use is lead-free and food safe. You can put it in the dishwasher, microwave, freezer...even your oven! Just avoid sudden temperature changes, like taking a bowl out of the fridge and putting it in a 350* oven or putting a hot dish into a sink of cold water.

The only exception to this general rule would be anything with gold luster. Hand wash only and do not stick in the microwave or oven.

I bought a bunch of pieces at the same time hoping to get a matching set but why do all the pieces look a little different?

Everything is handmade piece by piece. Due to the nature of handmade goods slight variations do occur. Each glaze batch and each kiln firing create slightly different color results as well. If you are interested in a set of something please contact us here and we can discuss what you are looking for!

I really like that mug, but can I get it in a different color?

Fortunately, all of Andrew Pullman pottery are one of a kind pieces. The same stamps are rarely used in the same order with the same glazes! If you really like the way something looks though please consider a custom order!
