Shipping + Handling
I currently ship most items USPS priority or parcel post. Most of my larger ceramic items and orders will be shipped parcel as the boxes are large and the cost for priority mail is prohibitive. However, sometimes on orders with several items, the combined shipping charges are sufficient to ship the order priority. Larger ceramic orders going to the West Coast will usually go parcel.
Because I have to list my shipping charges before I know where the item will be shipped to, I tend to charge as if they were going to the West Coast (I'm in Louisiana). If the actual shipping costs are considerably lower, then I will refund the difference. I do not make extra money off shipping charges! I have considerable expenses (boxes, packing peanuts, bubble wrap) that are associated with shipping pottery and I generally only charge the actual Post Office charges for the shipping!
Prior to purchasing your order, please message me about this option. If I can physically hand your order off to you in person I have no problem saving you money on shipping! Once I have received your message and we have discussed availability, I will then give you the free shipping code to be used on your order.
